Money is an exceptional Yorkshire boar in terms of his depth of body, huge flat bone, and has what many Yorkshires don’t, a perfect ham-loin junction. Money will fix a lot of problems in the Yorkshire breed. His first set of babies have been uniform, easy to feed, while being ultra-powerful in their skeleton. As a mature boar, Money has maintained excellent toe quality and near perfect set to his rear hock. At Schenken Genetics we are committed to structural integrity, and Money maintains this commitment. This Yorkshire boar is sure to be Money!

The Natural

Drive Shaft X Load Em Up
EN: 4-1
Reg#: 372400001

The Natural is a boar we purchased from Stewart Durocs. To say we like using and believe in Stewart Durocs would be an understatement. I do not know of a breeding firm that has produced more Duroc boars that breed on and have made an impact on the Duroc barrow industry or the Duroc gilt industry than Stewart Durocs. The Natural got his name simply because he came right off the slatted flooring on regular feed and looks like he can win any barrow show in the country. This guy is moderate, has awesome square muscle, sound, and one cool looking boar that maintains body and rib. You CAN have pretty, powerful, and soundness in one package and The Natural has that. If you are serious about making your Duroc barrows better The Natural is your man. He is proof great ones don't need all the fluff and fit. I have him housed at RAR Genetics. Give the Abbas guys a call at RAR for your semen needs. 319-269-0097 or 319-239-7282

Same dam as He’s The Light, Mr. Right, and Quiet Riot. Littermate to reserve duroc barrow at the 2016 Arizona National Stock Show. Doug feels this is the best barrow boar he has ever produced. Red Rock is so unique in his length of body, while maintaining incredible muscle mass, soundness, and the ultimate show appeal.  He has perfect toe quality and set to his rear hock, which separates him from most durocs in the industry. First set of pigs look outstanding! He is a must use for making show barrows with the ultimate look and balance. Will see continued heavy use at Schenken Genetics.

Below is what Doug Stewart had to say:
Jasper is the $17,000 champion and top selling Duroc boar from the 2016 Fall Classic. If you know me you know I don’t like to buy boars. I much prefer to raise them myself. It takes a special, eye-catching boar from a herd I genetically trust with a pedigree I trust to get me to think about making a purchase. Jasper is all of that and more. Jasper has great show ring presence. He is up-headed and eye-catching in his look, wide based front and rear, balanced in his design and correct in his movement with big, even toes. Jasper is sired by Class Act the $30,000 2015 STC champion boar who is a Slats X Challenger with that sow being a $18,000 Fordice gilt. Bottom line I feel that Jasper will really work on our sows. Finally, we named him Jasper in honor of Jack Rodibaugh’s champion barrow from the 1969 international. Jasper was considered the ideal market hog and his likeness is still used for hog trophies. With Jack recently passing we thought it was only fitting.

Attention X Challenger 84-9
Registration Number:380056005
EN: 129-5
Bred by: RW Genetics

The very first boar produced out of the $190,000 World Record Selling Duroc boar Attention. He comes from the first ever collection of Attention the day before Rick left for Louisville. Guess Rick knew he had something special. I have visited Rick’s farm several times, but this summer I was fortunate enough to spend some time studying the sows behind Attention and why he is really breeding on. Needless to say, the three best sows on the farm make up Attentions dam, maternal granddam, and paternal granddam. He is no mistake.

Rick then tells me he has an extremely linebred Attention son he calls Attraction. Needless to say, I had to see the boar. Pedigree alone makes him worth using but when I saw him I knew Schenken Genetics needed to own him. Rick has already bred over 20 sows to this guy. I believe Attraction could be the next step in continuing to elevate this Duroc breed. He has near perfect set to his rear hocks and takes a long smooth stride off each end. Attraction has a crisp shapely top and a big full rump. However, it’s the extension throughout his front end that makes this guy have that champion presence. Did I mention his bones are big and flat and his joints are clean with no swelling? He does right what so many Durocs don’t. Jump on board because this guy is no mistake and he should breed extremely consistently with his lined up pedigree.

Sharp Dressed Man X Colt 45 X Old Goat X Hillbilly Bone
Bred By: Ty Stikeleather

Stress Negative

Achieve is the product of the first gilt ever purchased through the Heimer Hampshires Achieve program bred back to Sharp Dressed Man. When we saw this creature in the Chosen Ones sale we knew we needed to get the scoop on him. Everyone we spoke to including Jesse said this boar was the real deal and at that point we knew he needed to come to Texas. Achieve is as good as his billing and so much more. This guy is incredible in his structure having massive flat bone while maintaining ultra clean joints. His flexibility literally allows him to go all day. Achieve has a massive skull, blade, and forerib while maintaining the ultimate show pig look. He carries his head high, opens up into a massive chest and body cavity, and continues the width and power all the way through to the tip of his tail. When Chuck Olsen visited the farm this past spring he could not stop admiring Achieve. Needless to say, we are now partners on the boar and he is housed in South Dakota. Achieved pigs are by far the best to ever start here at Schenken Genetics and we believe that is no accident. Study his pedigree, study, his picture, and you will see he combines royalty on all sides. I have not seen many like him in all my years of raising hogs.

Semen is available through Olsen Yorkshires.

Legacy X Tiger

Bred By: Grimm Purebreds
Stewart’s Duroc Farm

Grand Champion Hampshire boar 2017 SWTC. Jim called me a week before Belton and informed me that he felt he had a special one coming to Texas. After seeing Vaquero in person I knew he was a must have for our breeding program. There is no Hampshire boar in the industry with his kind of true rib shape, and dimension while maintain impeccable soundness off both ends. Vaquero is truly a breeding hog. If you are tired of tall, narrow, poor preforming hampshires, then Vaquero is a must use. He is monster boned yet his bone is flat, and his joints are clean. Vaquero could be bred to every Hampshire you own and simply make your hogs better. As he has matured, he has continued to blow us away with his ability to mass up while staying incredibly youthful and sound. You had better get on board as this may be the last Hampshire breeding boar ever produced by Jim Grimm, and in this breeders opinion Jim may have the best Hampshire herd in America.
